insanely dull

Here it is...almost midnight performing an install that began at 7:30pm. Due to application issues, I will have to back it out now.  Looks like another one of those 18 hour days.  I am guessing it may be 2am before I get to bed.  And I know you feel sorry for me, so I will give you more photos to enjoy!

I worked almost 60 hours last week. This week started with two 12 hour days. So having an 8.25 hour day today almost felt nice. The weather has been nice so I have taken a few more shots for you to enjoy.

I found these nice beauties on my walk at lunch.  I didn't know that Bull Nettle actually blooms and produces fruit.  Kind of pretty...but toxic!

What a challenge it is to keep these two things straight in life!

Thursday, I worked a 18.75 hour day. It's been a very long time since I worked any hours like that. I had an application deployment that began at 8pm, and by the time I finally left, the application had been installed, tested, found to have a problem, and then backed out. I got home at 2:30am. I had to be back at work at 8am for a meeting. I left early, but I still put in a 49 hour week. That wll be a huge check!

We have spent the weekend around the house doing odds and ends. Next weekend I am going back to Colorado to do some things for mom.

On another note, my real father was taken to the hospital by ambulance yesterday. Initial results show COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), Emphysema, and some fluid around the heart. They are running more tests and have admitted him into the hospital. It doesn't sound too good at this point.
