I am in the process of finally merging my photography and blog web sites. I found a free portfolio template for Joomla (what runs this site) that should work quite nicely. Soon, you will go to charlesdobbs.com for my work and blog. I will just point insanelydull.com to the blog area on charlesdobbs.com. Hopefully that makes sense. I called my father for father's day yesterday. He had been back in the hospital while I was on vacation again. His blood pressure bottomed out again. He also told me he was going to under hospice care twice a week starting this week. That can only mean one thing, his time on this earth will end very soon. I am not really sure what feelings will occur when he finally does pass. Hopefully he has found peace with God. |

I have really been thinking about what to do with this blog lately. First off, I have this site, my photography site (charlesdobbs.com), two product sales sites (cdobbs.zenfolio.com & redbubble.com/people/cdobbs). My thoughts are to make Charles Dobbs Photography my main site and include this blog into it as a link. It would save me $30 a month in hosting fees. If I can make the site look professional to what I have now then I might take on the challenge. We enjoyed a nice relaxing time in Cozumel, Mexico. We were also there for friends Lily & Mike wedding. It was hard to come home. Work continues to create stress with the moto...do more with less and LEAN is the new methodology in town. I bet there is another just around the corner after this one fails too, just like they all do.

Let's all take a moment to welcome Ian James Fleming, born yesterday at 5:12pm, weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and 21.5 inches long. That's a keeper in most lakes!  |

I am not sure what shape I will be in tomorrow, so I will wish you all a Happy New Year now. What will 2009 have in store for us?
We don't have any big plans tonight. Jeff and Judy will coming over, so we will probably play some cards or something with Michelle's mom.
What are your resolutions for 2009? Here are mine:
1. Avoid Layoffs
2. Lose weight and exercise (again)
